Six of our lawyers spent the spring term at a neighbourhood legal clinic, taking housing and consumer matters alongside their case work. The clinic sets the docket; we take what comes in the order it comes.
Associates run these matters themselves. A first-year appears, argues and answers to the client without a partner speaking for them, which is a kind of practice that a commercial docket cannot manufacture on demand.
The term ends in June and the next begins in September. Anyone joining the firm is expected to take one.
