COME INCOLD.
No experience is assumed and nobody is going to spar. Here is exactly what the first hour looks like so none of it is a surprise.

START HERE.
- 01
Arrive
Doors open fifteen minutes early. Give your name at the desk, drop your bag in a locker, and someone will walk you to the bag you are on.
- 02
Wrap
Wraps live in a bowl on the counter and they are yours to keep. If you have never put a pair on, say so — wrapping the first hand is a two-minute lesson.
- 03
Glove up
Loaner gloves come with your first class, sized at the desk. After that most people bring their own, and there is a shelf by the door to leave them on.
Wear
Trainers you can pivot in, and something you do not mind sweating through.
Bring
A water bottle and socks. Everything else is on the shelf by the desk.
Skip
Rings and watches on the wrapping hand. There is a dish at the desk for them.
- Do I need my own gloves?
- Not for the first class — loaners are sized at the desk. Most people buy their own after a month or so.
- How hard is it?
- You set the pace on the bag and you pick the dumbbells on the floor. The round timer is the same for everyone; nothing else has to be.
- Is there sparring?
- No. Nobody hits anybody in this room — every punch lands on a bag or a pad.
- What if I am late?
- Come in anyway. A coach will slot you into the round that is running and catch you up between them.
